In the last 36 hours I’ve spent so much time in an orange jumpsuit that I now feel naked without it.
Ticket selling has gone really well. It seems the number of tickets we sell at any point is in direct proportion to the number of props we use. We had a photographer from The Argus (Brighton’s rag) invade our street theatre today… Hmmm…
Film night tomorrow and I still haven’t edited “Voices of Sussex” yet. Grumble grumble need more time grumble grumble…

Got home so late this morning, I think it was almost 6. Had to get up at 9 to be in Brighton for 10. Not cool.
Last night was fun though: After pyjama party there was a duvet party at flat 42. Odd.
Today was the Save Omar conference. Lots of great speakers including Craig Murray who is supposed to be talking at the festival on friday. The fact that he knew nothing of it was quite worrying, until he rang his agent… Phew.

Eurgh… Selling tickets is soul destroying. I hates it I does.
Anyway, off to a pajama party now, yay for that.
If you’re not busy check out http://tearoomappreciators.com, there are a couple of new reviews and a new poll to play with. Plus I’ve just printed out all the letters, expect the server to die on tuesday when all the reviewees are all looking at their (and other) reviews. Woot. Can’t wait to hear from Roseanne: http://tearoomappreciators.com/archives/Tom/2006/roseannes-tea-room-lutterworth/…

So… I have an essay due tommorrow at four. But it’s fully researched and almost half written… And I have no lectures tomorrow… And I’ve not been out into Brighton for over a week.
Should I feel bad about going out tonight? :s

It’s been a while since I posted a geek quote:
“It should be noted that no ethically-trained software engineer would ever consent to write a DestroyBaghdad procedure. Basic professional ethics would instead require him to write a DestroyCity procedure, to which Baghdad could be given as a parameter.” - Nathaniel S Borenstein

I have discovered the importance of removing beer from the freezer before it freezes.
1st the ring-pull won’t work (although, as I found, this might be a blessing in disguise), it’ll tend to bend before it opens the can.
2nd when a blunt instrument is used to bash the can open, it will explode and shower those present in high pressure, high odour beer distillate.
3rd what is left is frozen. I’ll keep you posted as to what it defrosts into.
Also we’ve got some defrosting in the fridge. My guess is that they’ll defrost into cold, flat, beer. Time will tell.
