Having a bottle of wine over lunch is very pleasant, but can be dangerous if it leads to drinking from lunchtime to just before breakfast…

So last night was a wee bit manic. I was more relaxed as well because the proceedings proceeded out of my flat. Borrowed an Armani shirt from Sunni. Pimpin.
Drank much gin and flirted far too much with my (gay) friend Donal.
Today I did laundry. Much fun. Whites are very pretty when they’re suddy and spinning.

My new book kicks ass. It is called “The Mechanical Mind” and caught my eye in the bookshop yesterday. It’s very interesting, but quite heavy.
Today we went into Brighton (again) to get some supplies. It was a bit drizzly so we didn’t spend a lot of time on the beach (I still love saying that word) and concentrated on hardcore shopping. I got a new satchelesque bag and a lego keyring.
Also in brighton we visited the upstart cafe of Rudi’s mum. She gave us free waffles and coffee. I think we’ll be going there for our flat outing.
Freshers ball tonight, woot.

Brief update. Need sleep.
In the last few days my flatmates and I have developed a kind of weird celebrity status. Each night our flat (perfectly positioned) has hosted the after-party. My poor stereo amp has fused once already from the volume people like the music. On sunday (probably the best night so far) we had five complaints for noise, this is not good.
Oh and there are only 4 people on my course.

Quick update, went to see pad this afternoon. He’s had his mane pulled and hooves oiled. They’re pampering him.
Did a quick tour of the banks too, everything is, at last, sorted!

Well then my cherubs.
Two things I wanna share with y’all:
1) A quick check online reveals I’m now the proud owner of a credit card. Boy do I feel grown up! 
I just have horrible visions of having to ring someone like DebtBustersUK, shudder…
2) MySpace is horribly addictive. I only went on to add a comment to someones blog entry, now 3 people have added me! Bummer.

“Well that’s nice,” Quoth my mother.
I’ve just had Mel turn up at the door with an envelope.
She reminded me that the last show we went to we left early so I could get to work.
Well it turns out I won it. And the money had been sitting in an envelope on a desk somewhere for ages. She read that I’d won in the RLRC newsletter and collected the winnings for me.
