Well the forums taking off in a major way. It’s been so busy that my server keeps borking. Apache and mysql are taking it in turns to throw wobblers at present, as soon as one works it dumps too much on the other and kills itself.
Haven’t posted in a while actually, and that’s because I’ve been tres busy.
Was at the IOW festival this weekend, which kicked major arsage. Saturday was my aunts wedding too, so we had to drag our(filthy)selves up to bath. The wedding was lovely and the food was great!
The music was supurb at the festival. This years next-big-thing prediction is split between the subways and the magic numbers. Both were excellant, will be interesting to see if the subways catch the numbers up, the numbers are already being played loads on radio 1.
Monday evening when I got back I had to go to work.
Was so exhausted I couldn’t really work properly, but I did try. Also on monday I switched on my laptop to find that martin had been having a go at alice. Just what I wanna see before I go to bed, thanks.
On tuesday alice came over and woke me up, which was nice. Basically we just lollopped round all day and had a great day.
Was called into work as well. Was already supposed to be staying over tonight so was not a mjor issue.
I DID NOT GET BUMMED!
Was going to do the beer garden this morning but it was raining, so watched the rugby instead.
I must do some further maths revision today…
Wrote that title, then thought people may think I meant jacks little lady, I don’t. It’s the linux equivalent of DOS and I’ve been playing with in on my server. Ooh it’s lovely!
Have managed to sell 4 websites too. This should keep me relatively busy, and pay for europe 2005.
I’ve spent a lot of time becoming nerdier and nerdier lately, but I’ve also been revising for exams.
Biology was fine, am pretty confident that I did OK. I know I fluffed some questions, but on the whole it was fine.
Maths was surprising. The first paper, core 1, was a piece of piss. Honestly. The second made me sweat. It was tricky. They must have been written by different people. They were completely different.
Chem tomorrow. I’ve been finding this the hardest to revise for. It’s all concepts, not facts, and I just seem to ‘get’ it. Hard to revise, but I hope this is a good sign… :s
That pretty much sums up my life for the moment.
The weekend sees things getting a little more exciting:
Friday after physics exam were trooping down to the IOW festival. Arguably the original rock festival. Last year I couldn’t make it, but apparently it was over-commercialised. The bestival debuted last year, and I went to that. The bestival was fantastic. The IOW is supposed to be more like that this year.
On saturday it’s my aunts wedding. That’ll be fantastic. I love the way families get together at events like this. Tis a good way to keep in touch. Plus my aunt deserves to get married, she’s really cool, but never settled down.
Sunday were back to the festival. Grab the lineup here.
Now I’m gonna grab some revision, then bed.

So I asked Martin what was happening. He said to send an email back saying that we’re on to it. So I did.
He said he’d make it today and send it the next.
Rang him again today and heard the, now familiar, giggle in the background, followed by martins pseudomacho ‘Hello’.

Wireless woo! Tis all tres bien. Have moved all computery goodness upstairs onto desk now. Tis very cool.
Today I had an excellant driving lesson. Will book theory test in a mo. I also went riding and had mighty good time, ooh yeah.
Sin city last night was great. Me liked. 2005 is a good year for film.

Has been a good day so far, am now going to ring paul smith to get arrangements for the 2nd July when I’ll be playin’ ma choons at the, wait for it, queniborough village fete. I think I’ll disguise myself…
So once again I’ve not posted in a long time.
New tactics: I’m not going to go into much detail RE: day to say stuff, just an overview.
Sunday: Quiz money still not won, work ok.
Monday: Rode (woo!) and then alice came over.
Tuesday: Spent day with alice, then work. Work was great, rocking out with gary in the kitchen when it was quiet. Then the football, which I really enjoyed.
Wednesday: Babysat meg and ben, went to park and watched school of rock with them. In eve went walking from pub to pub trying to get served. Theres a new initiative apparently, pushing the ‘no id, no sale’ thing. Ended up at the star in thrussington and had a nice evening. Mum got a speeding ticket.
Today: Rode for hours. Wrestled with new wireless network. Got bored. Will take it up another day.
All week I’ve been revising myself to a hellish boredom. Melting my mind with crap.
Also I’ve been getting nerdy with this phpBB thing. Tis great. All the basic code works ok which leaves me to develop cool modifications for it. I’ve started to publish them on the phpbb website too. You may see some people from there using my site from now on, they’ll probably use the new forum near the bottom.
Need to mow the lawn at work tomorrow, been meaning to do it all week. Then I’ll prob ride…
Saturday looks like a horse-bathing day, he’s filthy.
