I really wish I was in a cinema right now. I’ve been a huge adams fan for ages. Tis not fair. To console myself I took salmon of doubt out of the library. I figure a binge may help me forget that I can’t afford to see the script he campaigned to get filmed since he wrote the books.
On the other hand my car came tonight. Tis beautiful. All it needs is a stereo and my bumper stickers… Handles so much better than mums car. Tis red. 1.1 litre. 3 Door. N432 FEX - a registration you won’t forget in a hurry.
Also rode tonight, weather was incredible, thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Today at school was odd. Had 4 lessons. Spent my free (P4) trying to get jack out of evans’ locked office. Nik-nak got him and keiran into trouble by the sounds of it… From what I’ve gathered jack and keiran were mucking about and nik-nak decided to fake injuries, he complained to each person that saw him that a different part of him hurt. An ambulance was called, I mean, what a fucking joke! His dad rang the school later to tell everyone that there was absolutely nothing wrong with him, not even bruising from any alleged assault. Anyway, he’s decided he’s staying in for scans, and the rest of sixth form have catalysed the rumour that he’s in a coma. Mass hatred for all the ‘goffic weirdos’ that sit in the TV room ensued. I did what I do best, made a poster:

Polite Notice
We are not all violent, xenophobic, ‘goffic weirdos’.
Thank you.”

That seemed to ease the tension a little, as most people had to ask us what xenophobic meant. I guess they realised that they’d rather talk to us than go get a dictionary after all…
Gonna go do something now, not sure what, but will find something.

Proper ‘BOS’ man a tell thee.

So yesterday was fun. Really was. Has a relatively busy day at school, only downside was the fact that mr marquis decided he was going to teach this week. I normally do other work in general studies and this week I’d been hoping to do some biology, but never mind.
After school yesterday went riding. It looked like it was going to rain, and lo, it did. Got drenched. Pad just ploughed on through, he doesn’t like rain, but he was being well behaved for once. Did some more work on script for YE.
Today had full day at school, including a lunch time meeting, the deadline for my bio plan and a meeting with lyn at the office at BOS house to correct the presentation for next week.
Went riding fairly late. Then have basically been winding down with my copy of HHGTTG. Gonna make some corrections to the script, then watch supersize me.
As tigger would say: “Tee Tee eeF eN”

“I’m not a daddy” but “I’m pregnant with twins.”

Well not really, thats just what georgie (or just george as she now likes to be known) told martin.
Monday was dull. Slept in through first lesson because it was a free. Lessons were boring. YE meeting was very unproductive, although I suspect that this is a sign that we’ve got things under control.
Work was OK. No problems there. Was ok on sunday night in case I didn’t already say that.
Tuesday had interesting lessons P1+2. Then met alice for lunch. I am seriously liking subway (not starbucks). Preferred the chicken one I had on sat though, steak didn’t do it for me. Got a phone call from chris saying that they’d had to cut me out of the presentation… I went on the warpath and now all is resolved. Lesson 5 was maths and I wasn’t late.
Was raining in eve so didn’t ride. Spent eve rewriting script for yueffo again and writing biology plan. Was all good and productive.
Best get off and do some work now.

Busy weekend

Posted in Livejournal

Friday night met the gang (alas without cool) at asda. Supposedly to buy ‘col for the upcoming party. Had already been riding + driving, was vury tired. Anyhoo there were a load of year 11s and they were acting like morons. So no alcohol was purchased there. Sam bought a pie that was reduced because the lid was caved in. We went outside to eat it, and eat about half of it before: “It’s a bit gloopy isn’t it?” Cue us going back inside (into the light) to realise that it hadn’t been cooked. I think I speak for both of us when I say that we were cautious about our proximity to toilets for rest of the weekend.
Later on Liam and I ended up returning to asda to purchase mucho alcoholy. We had to borrow a trolly to get it to keirans. Party was actually good fun, although ended early. I was pushed half way home in the trolly. Police followed us up a hill, we only realised when we turned around prior to my being pushed down said hill. They were ok, just wanted to make sure we were taking it back to asda (which we were) and that we weren’t going to do anything stupid like push someone down the hill.
Saturday got up early and rode. Then went with sam to meet alice and clare. Bought new jeans. Had subway lunch and starbucks coffee. Had a good day. Then went to work. Then went back into town again with sam to meet alice and clare again. Saw john and liz whilst out. Ended up in mosh and had a generally fantastic evening. =)
Today had lie in. Had breakfast, went to work, got sent home because it’s so quiet. Am going back at 5:30, but am doing hw for now.

Bazalgette

Posted in Livejournal

Did you know that the crazy cook guy that owns the FM range of radio stations (Classic, jazz talk etc) is the direct descendant of Bazalgette who did londons sewers? Well it’s true. He also owns a TV company called Bazal.
Last night went for long ride, was fun.
Women are very terrible, they’re sleazy and lame and we don’t like them.
Yeahhh!
Had early night last night.
Erm
Had bio and chem this morning. Bored as hell.
Ooh, heres an interesting anecdote: Yesterday I thought I’d lost the drink I’d brought with me. Was very thirsty. Packing away at end of lesson 4 and found it, well half of it. Had been leaking over my text books all day. They’re all scabby and horrible.
This is Tom (and partly jack) signing out, g’day sports!

Feel the burn!
Common consensus indicates that my adoring fans (sic) want to see more updating. Here we go…
Saturday was panto-tastic. All went really well. I was doing lights (which were fine) and a Yueffo stall (we made £70) as well as coordinating everyone’s non-panto movements. Sam was on the camera, ed and chris were selling.
Sat eve was joined by alice, had the after show party. Great buffet provided by the spice. One major incident which is stressing me out atm, thought it was all cool, now know theres a small chance it’ll come back to haunt me still… :s
Sunday slept late. Went to work and then had an early night.
Monday I visited bank first thing. Wasn’t open when I got there so I wasted half an hour feeding the ducks. School was pretty uneventful. Had a YE meeting after school. Brought padmeister in, then work.
Tuesday went to school as normal, intending to meet alice in town, got home and did horse, couldn’t find bus money. Who’s been home all day smoking? I just flipped, completely pasted Joe. It’s like all the time I wanted to smack him plus all the other crap thats been happening later. Anyway I pretty much lost it. I then had to explain why he wasn’t in a few minutes later to his social worker, which made me late for the bus, which (combined with roadworks) made me late into town. Ended up meeting alices parents, paul gave me a lift to martins house where I crashed.
Martin didn’t snore like a hippo.
Today was YE area final. Was so stressed about it. I didn’t need to have been, we were easily the best team and we won hands down. This has cheered me up, we had chocolate cake. Next up is the Leicester Stadium for the regional finals.
Gonna get an early night tonight, hope this update was satisfactory, will endeavour to post more often.

Turnip fur dem books.

Who Should You Vote For?

Who should I vote for?

Labour -18 tiny_grey_light Turnip fur dem books.
Conservative -18 tiny_grey_light Turnip fur dem books.
tiny_grey_dark Turnip fur dem books. Liberal Democrat 32
UK Independence Party -10 tiny_grey_light Turnip fur dem books.
tiny_grey_dark Turnip fur dem books. Green 15

You should vote: Liberal Democrat

The LibDems take a strong stand against tax cuts and a strong one in favour of public services: they would make long-term residential care for the elderly free across the UK, and scrap university tuition fees. They are in favour of a ban on smoking in public places, but would relax laws on cannabis. They propose to change vehicle taxation to be based on usage rather than ownership.

Take the test at Who Should You Vote For

Well, thats a shocker… Think alice maybe right, site is run by Lib Dem. Either that or they are gonna win this election… Who can tell?

It just gets worse.

So the technical rehearsal was fine. Except me landing myself with more work. It’s like I carry around a fucking sign telling people to dump work on me.
I now have to learn a part in case Nick Tarry can’t get the time off work. I’ll be playing Guy of Goscote, the Sherrifs right hand man.
On top of that I have to PAL test the lighting desk, it’s getting delivered tomorrow and it needs to be done before friday, hmmm…
I’ve just finished my “3 sheets of A4″ information about Yueffo’s ICT department (me) and now I want to sleep.
One source of amusement: The promised sound equipment was present today, every bit had a little orange BBC sticker on. Guess where tim works? That’s right, he’s an audio engineer for the beeb.

Lift and separate.

Work on monday was an experience. Had two huge parties in, as well as being fully booked. One party were from Dunelm and acted like a bunch of apes, I kid thou not… They made a ‘cocktail’ from wine and mayonnaise, this is the sort of thing my sister has grown out of.
Anyway, got back at a decent time and went to bed.
Yesterday had a fairly uneventful day at school, besides becoming the undefeated champion of british bull dog. After school had homework to do. I’d asked everyone at yueffo to mail me stuff for the script before 6. I’d got nothing except from martin and 6 came and went. Craig dropped his round later on. Then work rang. I went in to help and we were rammed, was so busy. Left early after it’d calmed down and tried to get to grips with the script. Andy had emailed me his stuff. Was utter shite and I didn’t finish til 1:00 in the morning.
This morning I photocopied and collated it all and had a fairly routine day. When we came to do a read through at lunch I realised what shite I had managed to churn out. Liz and I spent lesson 5 going over it several times.
Got home and slept for a bit. Then got horse in. Tonight is the technical rehearsal for mums panto, so I guess I’ll be there in a few mins.
